This is a Christmas craft I did a couple of years ago which my children loved.
We made the letters to spell out merry Christmas out of salt dough. I then baked them but not forgetting to put wholes in first for the ribbon.
When baked and cooled we got the paints out and got to work making them look pretty, we also sprinkled glitter over the wet paint for the extra sparkle.
When dry I threaded ribbon through the whole and hung them up on the fire place.
They made a lovely Christmas decoration, the only problem is I didn’t know you had to varnish them or completely seal them with paint. Because ours wasn’t they unfortunately went soft for the following year. But that meat we had more fun making some more.
Why don’t you join me on Facebook, would love to see you over there.
