Simple counting activity

Do your children like playing with handbags?
Have they started counting early or do you want to encourage counting?

Well here is a very simple play idea that my 2 year old loves.

It’s as simple as a bag filled with different toys or anything you have to hand which is suitable.
My daughter loves bags and likes emptying and filling them back up.
As she empties the contents out I encourage her to count them out.

You can also talk about
• What they look like?
• how they feel?
• what is it made off?
• what colour is it?
• who does it belong to.
Anything as long as it keeps your child attention.

You can fill the bag with anything your child will find interesting or within a topic.

To be perfectly honest my daughter invented this game herself, I have just carried it on and encouraged the educational side of it.

Why don’t you join me on Facebook, would love to see you over there.
