Nail soup

We have been reading nail soup recently and the children really seem to enjoy it. To link in with the story we made out own nail soup craft.
I printed out some vegetables I found on clip art along with an A4 cauldron to make the soup in.
The children coloured in the cauldron

And cut a slit out of the top

We put glue on all the sides of the reverse and glued it on to a plain piece of paper

Next we coloured in the vegetables which needed it and drew the nail (as I forgot to print it out!!!)

We then cut out the vegetables and put them in the cauldron

My 6 year old wrote what went in his soup

There was some very unusual things in his soup like a dragons tooth!!!!

Why don’t you join me on Facebook, would love to see you over there.
