Lavender salt

Today my youngest has been playing with lavender salt.
This is very easy to make and cheap too.

This is what I used to make our lavender salt. All you need to do is add some of the lavender oil and food colouring if you are using and mix together.
My youngest daughter has had lots of fun making shapes in the salt using a paintbrush upside down.

As you can see she likes circles. This activity has also had an unexpected learning curve for my daughter, as she still puts things in her mouth she has discovered it tastes horrible. Maybe she will stop putting things in her mouth!!

When my older daughter comes back from school I am going to use the salt to help her to practice writing with the use of sight words for her to copy.
