Baked cotton wool snakes

For Chinese New Year have made our very own snakes out of baked cotton wool. You can find the instructions for baked cotton wool here.

To make our snakes we didn’t use any food colouring because we wanted to paint the snakes but you could use food colouring instead of painting.
Izlles and Puppy made their snakes by coating the cotton wool balls and placing them next to each other.
Once they had made their snakes I baked them.

Once baked and cooled down we got to work painting them.

Izlles didn’t want to paint his so Posy did it for him.
As always with Posy and paint it soon meant she had painted her hands!
Both girls had great fun painting the snakes and here they both are finished.

Izlles age 6
Posy age 4
